What We Do
We have a proven method of mentoring that is personal and structured with highly trained staff. Utilizing evidence-based research, we provide a proprietary curriculum which focuses on resilience and persistence. This is partnered with a personalized mentoring component. We want youth and young adults to be confident, empowered, and goal-oriented.
We see education as the barometer of success and opportunity with all youth. Our focus is on getting students into college or post-secondary training. Research shows that resilience and persistence toward long-term goals are the foundations of success, regardless of IQ. Behavioral, social, academic performance, poor student engagement issues can often be traced back to lack of development and training in resilience.
We provide weekly curriculum in addition to motivational nudges with highly-trained mentors. Navigators are trained to provide resilience-based mentoring to participants. All services are provided in the most convenient way possible--text messaging. Our double-blind texting software is proven to reach and engage. This mentoring style is convenient for rural areas and busy schedules.
A Parent Companion Program is available for youth enrolled in the program at no additional cost, but is not required. This additional feature provides access to the youth's mentor and informs the parent of the weekly skill their youth will be working on.
The program is available in English & Spanish for anyone aged 12 or older.

Safety Features
Navigators are background checked and professionally trained, and only communicate with clients from 8 am – 8 pm. All communication takes place through double-blinded software, which is monitored by administration. Data is kept confidential and private. Our software does not allow for any media messages. Any dangerous/harmful behavior is immediately reported.
What We Do For You
We know you are all busy! We take over and handle all of the details.
We can provide large assembly kick-off with Stephen Koch, a successful GEAR UP speaker or smaller group work with Stephen. Or maybe you want to jump right in without a kick-off session; we can do that too!
Onboarding can be done individually or we do bulk sign up through your organization's administration. Through our website, we handle the sign-up of students including their demographic data and a 7 question survey on the 7C’s as a baseline. We also take care of parental permissions.
We match the student with their navigator based on similar interests. Then we contact each student individually.
The Navigator uses the information from the 7C’s survey to tailor their conversations with the students.
We provide monthly or quarterly reports that can be tailored to your needs.
Other features of the system include .csv downloads, de-identified phone numbers, persistent time-stamped & saved conversations, and continuous oversight & regular background checks of Navigators.
Options for match funds are available for grant recipients wishing to utilize our services
